Four Things To Do In Austin This Week

1. The Central Texas Airshow fills the skies all weekend starting with a night show tonight at Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport in Temple. Watch these pilots push their craft to the very limits. To learn more, click here.

2. Saturday you can see the Landmarks public art projects in a guided bike tour called Art Ride. The ride starts at the Blanton Museum Café and visits numerous artworks on the UT campus. Click here for more details.

3. Echotone gets another screening this week at Alamo Drafthouse. The movie looks at how members of the Austin music scene struggle with various levels of success and the culture that has developed. Saturday and Sunday it plays at the Alamo Ritz. Monday thru next Thursday it screens at Alamo South Lamar. For more information, click here.

4. Always the music plays on. This week, we suggest The Greenhornes at Antone’s on Friday, Pinback at Emo’s on Saturday, Marshall Hood (from The Belleville Outfit) at Momo’s on Sunday, and Ukemi at Ghost Room next Wednesday.
