Four Things To Do In Austin This Week

This feature highlights four events or activities in Austin and the surrounding area every week. If you have suggestions for events to be mentioned, please email them to info@missionmortgage.com.

1. Participate in a month-long, city-wide art/music display by sitting yourself in front of pianos that have been left in public places. Called Play Me, I’m Yours, the installation opens Friday at locations throughout Austin. To find out where the pianos will be, click here.

2. Enjoy a special menu while you watch Audrey own the big screen again on Saturday and Sunday for a special brunch presentation of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at Alamo South. For more information, click here.

3. Catch Turk Pipkin’s newest film, Building Hope, at a fundraising event for the Nobelity Project’s Kenya School Funds Program at the Paramount on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Click here for the details.

4. Live music fans won’t be disappointed this week with more great shows than we can mention. We’ll limit our suggestions to Shawn Colvin at One World Theatre on Friday, Chris Cornell at Paramount Theatre on Friday, Yonder Mountain String Band at Stubb’s on Saturday, and Heart at ACL Live on Thursday.
