Did you know that we have a polo club that was originally founded in 1925? That’s right, the Austin Polo Club at Cheval Manor has been a fixture for polo enthusiasts in Central Texas since the days of Cecil Smith, one of the most accomplished players in history. In fact, Smith called the Austin Polo Club his home.
Today, the Austin Polo Club provides an opportunity for both new players and current players to enjoy the game in an affordable and fun fashion. Their goal is to provide the fun and excitement of polo for both player and spectator. The club offers a complete equine experience that caters to anyone with the love for horses.
Austin Polo Club at Cheval Manor is a full service equestrian facility in Austin, Texas. Only fifteen minutes from downtown, it is a convenient drive for the busy professional or student. They offer boarding, lessons, horse training, layups, and more.
Don’t know how to play polo? That’s ok! Austin Polo Club offers lessons and practice times almost every weekend. The current schedule has lessons and practice sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. They even have horse leases and lesson horses available.
