Four Things To Do In Austin This Week

1.  Watch sculptors compete in a carved stone contest while enjoying live music, food, and more in Dripping Springs on Saturday. Proceeds benefit PAWS Shelter and Humane Society. More details can be found here.

2.  Explore UT opens the campus doors on Saturday, March 5 from 11am – 5pm. Dubbed The Biggest Open House in Texas, the schedule includes hundreds of tours, lectures, demonstrations, and activities. Click here for more information.

3.  The 83rd Annual Zilker Park Kite Festival is Sunday from 10am – 5pm. Forecast is calling for clear, sunny skies with a high around 67. For further details, click here.

4.  SXSW may be right around the corner, but there is still some great live music on tap this week. Check out the Mardi Gras Party at the new Austin City Limits on Friday, local night at Ghost Room, featuring New Roman Times, Stereo is A Lie, and more on Saturday, and Belltower 4 at the Elephant Room on Sunday.
