When you think condos, you think downtown. At least that’s how it’s been recently for the people of Austin. But, the best selling condo project in 2010 was Montevista Condominiums, located near the Pennybacker Bridge at Hwy 360 and Courtyard Drive in Northwest Austin. Montevista Condos has reported 44 sales in 2010, compared to downtown’s best seller 360condominiums where 38 units were purchased.

The Austin Business Journal reports that overall downtown condo sales were up roughly 50% over 2009 with 168 sales. The average time to sell a condo was 100 days, up slightly from the previous year.
