Good Burger – Good Cause

While you are out and about this Saturday, October 23 and you find yourself getting hungry, stop by any P.Terry’s in Austin for a good, fresh burger.  Why?  Because all profits for the day will be donated to Austin Habitat for Humanity. Austin Habitat has a vision to eliminate poverty housing through the power of home ownership. Along with their familiar home building program, they also offer first-time homebuyer classes sponsored by Mission Mortgage. You can support a great cause simply by eating at this local favorite this Saturday.

Along with burgers, P. Terry’s also offers chicken sandwiches and veggie burgers, fries, milk shakes, lemonade, and cookies. Calling themselves “Anti-Fast Food”, P. Terry’s is proud to serve quality ingredients cooked in a more healthy manner than your typical fast food restaurant.  Their goal is to “change the way things are cooked, the ingredients, the way customers are treated, and the level of care given to employees,” according to their website.

Mission Mortgage is a proud sponsor of Austin Habitat for Humanity. Our partnership with Habitat helps them to conduct first-time homebuyer classes and we are planning to sponsor a home building next spring. We are thankful for the success we have had and we select certain local charities to support as a way of giving back to this community that has given us so much. Austin is an amazing city with a tradition of deeply caring people helping others. Our contributions to charities such as Habitat allow us to continue that tradition.

Please support Austin Habitat for Humanity by eating at P.Terry’s on Saturday, October 23.  For more information about Mission Mortgage’s charitable contributions, please email us at
