ACL Festival – Suggestions from Mission, Part 3

We are so excited that the Austin City Limits Music Festival is upon us.  Starting this Friday, 130+ bands will take to the stages set up in beautiful Zilker park, providing 3 days of music and fun.  In honor of the festival, Mission Mortgage will be posting suggestions this week from various employees, past clients, partners and friends.  We will share information about the bands we are most looking forward to seeing, the food we can’t wait to enjoy, and even some memories of years past.  We hope you enjoy this series and we invite you to add your own suggestions to the comment section below.
Today’s recommendations come from Davis, an office assistant here at Mission Mortgage. Davis is an avid follower of music and a regular ACL attendee. Thanks, Davis, for providing your suggestions.

Like most people, on Friday I am looking forward to seeing The Black Keys. I’ll also be seeing Spoon (an Austin band) and The Sword (another Austin band). I’m still deciding between The Strokes and Phish to close out the first day.  On Saturday, my top picks are Black Lips, Broken Bells, and Muse.  On Sunday, my choices are clustered, so I’m going to have to hustle between the stages to catch The Henry Clay People, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, and The National.

I love ACL as a great chance to hang out with my friends and catch some great music. Don’t tell security, but I like to sneak in my own food!
